Businesses that want to message customers on WhatsApp hit Meta's Business API, which is not something a non-technical operator can set up. Number registration, template approval, webhooks and billing are all separate steps in different places, and getting any of them wrong means messages silently stop sending.

Built the Next.js and TypeScript front end covering onboarding, number provisioning, plan selection and the account dashboard.

Onboarding is the whole product, so it is a guided sequence with each step's state persisted. Provisioning depends on approvals that take hours or days, so the flow had to survive the user closing the tab and coming back — a wizard holding everything in memory would lose the work.

TypeScript throughout, because the API surface has many similarly-shaped identifiers — phone number IDs, business IDs, template IDs — and mixing two of them is the kind of bug that only shows up in production against a real Meta account.
