Portfolio

An earlier portfolio, built before the current one, to put the work somewhere linkable. Its limitation was structural rather than visual: every project was hardcoded in the markup, so adding one meant editing a component and redeploying.

That is fine for three projects and untenable at twenty, which is what eventually motivated rebuilding it.

Built the React and Tailwind front end end to end, including layout, project presentation and responsive behaviour.

Static content and a straightforward component structure, which was the right call for its scope at the time — a database and an admin panel for six projects would have been infrastructure serving nobody.

Superseded by the current site, which moved the same content into MongoDB with an admin panel and on-demand revalidation behind it. The useful lesson carried forward was that the constraint was never the design; it was that content lived in code.

Shipped and live. Kept here as an honest record of the earlier iteration rather than quietly retired.
