Modern Portfolio

The previous version of this portfolio was a gallery. It proved twenty-two things existed without saying what any of them solved, and every card sent the visitor off-site at the exact moment they became interested.

Designed and built it end to end: the public site, the MongoDB-backed content layer and the admin panel behind it.

Content is in MongoDB rather than hardcoded, with an admin panel and on-demand ISR revalidation, so adding a project is a form submission rather than a deploy. Every number on the page is derived from a collection rather than typed, after a hardcoded count sat on the page claiming two roles while the database held three.

Project cards link inward to a case study only when one exists, so a half-written entry sends the visitor to the working site instead of to an empty page.
